About these terms
These terms cover your use of The Time Vault website and any transaction arranged through it. By making an enquiry you accept them.
Enquiries and availability
Pieces shown on this site are offered subject to availability and are not a binding offer of sale. The holding changes constantly and a piece may be placed before a listing is updated. Nothing is reserved until we confirm it in writing.
Pricing
Pieces are quoted on application rather than listed. A quotation is valid for the period stated in it and reflects condition, provenance and the market at the time of quoting.
Condition and description
Every piece is assessed on intake and supplied with a condition report. Where a component has been replaced, a case refinished, or papers are absent, that is recorded in the report and disclosed at enquiry.
Authentication
Each acquisition passes through our master horologists before it is offered. Where a piece cannot be authenticated to our satisfaction, it is not offered.
Precious metals
Metals are traded against certified assay and quoted at the spot price at the time of dealing. Grades stated on this site are the standards we deal in, not an offer at a fixed price.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise our liability in connection with a transaction is limited to the amount paid for the piece.
